Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting the integrity, availability and confidentiality of your personal data. All processing of personal data at Verdde Hotel Lakselv must comply with the applicable privacy regulations, including GDPR and the Personal Data Act.

This privacy statement provides detailed information on what personal data is collected, how it is collected and what rights you have if your personal data is registered with us.

Data controller

Verdde Hotel Lakselv AS determines the purpose of the processing of personal data and which subcontractors are to be used. Verdde Hotel Lakselv is therefore to be considered the data controller for the personal data processed in the hotel's operations.

Our processing of personal data

In connection with your reservations made by you or by others on your behalf, we process the personal data we need to fulfill the contract for the reservation and purchase of services. This is information that you have given us directly or that you have given us via a travel agency or agent. For example, we process information about your identity and your contact details. In some cases, we will store your passport number. In addition, we process other information you may have given us that is relevant to your stay with us. This may include information about allergies or special requests for your stay. We register all purchases and bookings you make with us, such as accommodation or breakfast, in order to provide such services and to enable you to pay for them.

We process this data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the booking agreement with you, and additionally for as long as we are required to do so by applicable law or regulatory requirements.

The personal data is primarily used to provide service in the customer relationship. If you have consented to it, we will also use the data to provide you with relevant information and special offers from the hotel. Communication will take place via e-mail.

Hotel agreement

In order to enter into and fulfill hotel agreements, it is necessary to process personal data such as the name and contact information of the customer's contact person(s) from both the public and private sectors. In connection with fulfilling the hotel agreement, we need to store personal data for the customer's contact persons on agreements with a duration of 1-5 years.

Customer support

If you contact us with requests, we will process the personal data you provide to the extent necessary to respond to and log your request. The basis for this is legitimate interests or to fulfill agreements with you or to respond to your requests.

In addition to the processing described in our Privacy Policy or based on your consent, in some cases we may be required or permitted to process personal data when applicable law, including the Personal Data Act and the GDPR, a valid government order or court order requires or permits us to do so.

Wifi

We offer free Wifi in the hotel. In order to use this service, it is necessary for us to process, among other things, your IP address, MAC address and telephone number.

Camera surveillance (use of ITV)

To prevent, detect and investigate crimes, our properties are equipped with ITV equipment. Images and film are kept for 7 days and then deleted. Information obtained from images and/or film may be shared with the police in connection with criminal proceedings. Locations where ITV equipment is used are marked and information about its use can be found on site.
